St Cuthbert's Sea Lions (video)

You may support the Monastery of All Celtic Saints here: Filmed by in the Farne Islands, Northumberland, sailing towards St Cuthbert's hermitage on the Inner Farne Isle. The Saint's love for birds and animals is famous. He used to pray in the North Sea during night; in the morning, sea lions would cover him to keep him dry and warm. St Cuthbert also created possibly the world's first bird sanctuary, when he forbade his monks to harm any of the birds on his island.
